About the Blogger

Sebastian has been a sports fan for his entire life, and has paid attention to advanced statistics for almost as long. He has a math degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, and has worked for the San Francisco 49ers Museum as a museum educator. He has watched and played a copious amount of sports throughout his life and now seeks to write about them.

This blog is something I have thought about doing for a while, but finally took the plunge. The point of the blog will be to try and tackle sports issues whether they be players, teams, or stats and (attempt) to write it in a fun and hopefully entertaining way. Some of the posts will be opinion driven, while others will focus heavily on statistics, but all will have a basis in facts. No sport is off limits, but the majority of the articles will be based around the big 4: football, baseball, basketball, and hockey.

This will not be a recap blog, so while examples from games will be used, there will not be an overt focus on the summary of any one game in particular. Ideally I will be posting about twice per week. Hopefully you enjoy what follows.
